Letter about my (tony walker's) apathy 3 and calling me to action
First of all I want you to know I am only talking about my guilt and my need to repent. Also I am hoping to be the most effective in all that God is calling me to do and I look forward to hearing advise that helps me do that. I want to be a Godly example in all that I do and I thank you in advance for your input.
Well by now I probably, as they say, “I let the cat out of the bag” or as one might say because of my subject mater “I am calling the baby from the womb”
I make this plea to those around me “Please forgive me for my apathy and my lack of action. I have been guilty of looking around and comparing and saying well somebody else isn't doing much so why should I think it is my need to do more? I really do not know what someone else is doing, but I do know that what God says to me “whatever you do to the least of these you have done it unto me” Mat. 25:31-45. The situation of the baby in the womb is not getting any better. Many who believe not God, and place their hope in the wisdom of man, would argue that there are too many and we must use wisdom and not destroy the earth. But we who believe God and that he is the giver of good gifts, and that He is our provider and our hope and our redeemer. And we who have a message of hope, how do we fit man's wisdom with what scripture says, that it is God that opens or closes the womb (close Gen 20:18 open Genesis 29:31, 30:22). And with “Ps 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward”. This is God saying children are a extraordinary blessing, our heritage from Him. Now if we say “no Lord I am not counting this as a blessing”, what are we saying? That which God calls a blessing, we are calling a curse and a burden and something we can trash. How do we fit that with “whatever you do to the least of these you have done it unto me”? If Mary had aborted at day one of her conception, would she have been aborting Jesus or just some cells? Would it have been Just some product of conception and not Jesus?
Anyway the psalm continues Ps 127:4-5 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Can anyone imagine a man going out to war with only two arrows as quiver full? I would not want to need that man serving to defend me. Imagine sending an army out to battle with only two bullets each, sorry that is all you get. I think that would have a detrimental affect on his courage to fight. I believe we are losing the battle because we have chosen to believe man rather than placing our trust in God and his word. Fathers are taught that having children is bad if they have more than one or two, after all you will have trouble supplying for their needs. Please know this that it is not you that is supplying but God is doing it through you and he is able to supply for all the children he gives. Mothers, married or single are encouraged to kill their young. And Babies are being torn apart limb from limb having their heads crushed and their bodies pulled out and trashed, or now harvested to make skin creams and other things so we can have softer bodies and fewer children. If this was happening to adults we would hopefully cry out and pray for these being martyred, but we have been lulled into accepting this because it is out of sight, and we into believing it is for the greater good.
I do not know what God is saying to anyone else, but I am asking you to forgive me for my apathy and my lack of rescuing action for the least of these. I am hoping to be doing better. Thank you for holding me acountable.
I hope to hear from you. My email: [email protected]
